Our Programmes

The Institute offers a range of advanced courses for parents as well as training and certification programmes for professionals.

> Courses for Parents

• Positive Parenting Essentials (PPE).  A 2-day foundational course designed to enable you to experience greater joy, peace and confidence in your journey as a parent through learning and applying the fundamental paradigms, principles and practices of Advanced Parentology. It covers topics related to Self-Mastery for Parents, Effective Discipline and Parents-as-Coaches.  Methodology includes group discussion, self-reflection, problem-solving, and inquiry-based learning.  and Non-Punitive Discipline .

• Positive Discipline in Action (PDIA).  A 1-day course on the principles and practices of Positive (non-punitive) Discipline. 

• Parents-as-Coaches Workshop Series. A series of 3-hour practical workshops on how to bring out the greateness in children and teenagers through coaching.
  
• Positive Discipline Workshop Series. A series of 3-hour practical workshops on how to help children develop good character as well as how to handle various behavioural issues through method of discipline that are non-punitive.
  
• Self-Mastery for Parents Workshop Series.  A series of 3-hour practical workshops on personal development topcis including self-awareness, emotional mastery, effective communication, and conflict resolution.

> Courses and Certification Programmes for Professionals

• Certified Advanced Parentology Coach Programme (CAPC). 5-Day seminar followed by 12 weekly practice sessions. Seminar covers fundamentals of Advanced Parentology and Parent Coaching.  Certification is awarded only to students who have past a Certification Test and attained requisite level of competency only.  Read More 

• Certified Advanced Parentology Facilitator Programme (CAPF). 5-Day seminar covering in-depth knowledge of Advanced Parentology and facilitation skills.  A certified Advanced Parentology Faciltator shall be licensed to deliver educational programmes offered by IAP either as an Associate Facilitator or in private practice.

> Parenting Talks

The Institute also conduct talks on a range of topics related to parenting.  The current list of topics offered are:

Details and outline of talks and workshops are available upon request. The first three topics (Favourite) are the most popular and highly requested talks by SFE Coordinators across primary and secondary schools islandwide.

NOTE: The above programmes are available to non-profit organizations, volunteer and welfare organizations, and educational institutions at a discount ranging from 20% to 40% off standard rates applicable to the public.
