AP101: Fundamentals of Advanced Parentology and Non-Punitive Discipline

“Parenting isn’t always easy, but YOU CAN approach it with greater CONFIDENCE, JOY and PEACE by applying Principles and Paradigms that truly WORK.”

It has often been said that PARENTING is of the most important jobs in the world.  Ironically, it is also one that most people are often least prepared for.  Perhaps like most parents, you aspire to give your children your best; you try to provide them with what you believe is good for them; and you wish for them to turn out as well-behaved, good-mannered, happy, successful, independent, and responsible human beings.

Now, to what extent do you take your job as a parent seriously? What are you doing to realize these aspirations?

  • Are you COMMITTED to be the best Mum or Dad that your child deserves?
  • Are you PREPARED to devote your time and energy to develop yourself and master the principles of effective parenting?
  • Are you WILLING to explore new paradigms that will empower and enable you to be an EXCEPTIONAL PARENT?

If your answer is ”YES,” we invite you to begin your journey toward an exceptional parenting experience filled with greater joy, peace and fulfillment with ADVANCED PARENTOLOGY 101 (AP101).  In this 1-day foundational course offered by the Institute of Advanced Parentology, you will learn the fundamental paradigms and principles of Advanced Parentology and Non-Punitive Discipline

Advanced Parentology is a multidisciplinary approach to parenting that culminated from an extensive investigation into the art and science of raising children.  It incorporates principles from various disciplines including philosophy, psychology, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), systems thinking, personal transformation, professional coaching, and leadership development. It is founded on the fundamental premise that children are complete human beings that deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.  At the heart of Advanced Parentology is a set of PARADIGMS, PRINCIPLES and WAYS OF BEING, further supported by frameworks and practices for practical applications.

Non-Punitive Discipline is an approach for disciplining children that does not use any form of punishment, be it physical or non-physical. Practitioners of non-punitive systems of discipline (i.e. Positive Discipline) seek to respond to children’s misbehaviours with respect, understanding, love and empathy by employing methods that honour the dignity of children, preserve their well-being and foster their personal growth.

How Some Parents Have Benefitted

“I think it helps me to be more empathetic towards my children and be more responsive to them vs. being reactive … Definitely improved parent child relationship and a much HAPPIER and HARMONIOUS FAMILY LIFE.”  ~ Yvonne

“I know for awhile that my son´s behavioral pattern could have been an extension of my interaction with him. But I was never consciously present with him to make changes in my parenting. Now I know.  Before I see changes in him I need to change.  I need to make a conscious effort to delineate matters into proper perspective ... As I make it a point to consciously choose to stop doing whatever I was doing and put my attention on him I can say I FEEL BETTER. Our interactions seem so much EASIER and MORE FUN … I can feel him trusting me more … I feel happier that he is sharing his feelings.” ~ Janice

“My ‘misbehaving list’ for kids disappeared ... I realised that some of the confusion I had during these few years in parenting were due to my own beliefs.” ~ Diana

“[This course helps me to] appreciate the challenges of parenting – I have been resenting parenthood whenever the fatigue takes over, especially during early days of newborns, but in recent times, this resentment has definitely worn off as it becomes “easier,” and after this course, hopefully all the remnants of resentment have been removed.” ~ Shu Li

What Do Parents Say About This Course

“Deep content, touches on the FUNDAMENTALS… Highly suggest both husband and wife to attend.” ~ Jason

“TRANSFORMATIONAL. Perhaps it is timing.  Perhaps it is also at the most critical point that I am going through now.  Perhaps I am now ready for change.  The course has helped to 'defragment' the garbled messages strewn all over in my mind.  The course has mainly provided me the impetus for change.  This is short of a 'spiritual awakening' course for me.  Never have I felt so strongly about a course as this.” ~ Janice

“Challenge our existing parenting framework … Good opportunity to LEARN MORE ABOUT OURSELVES.” ~ Hong

“Very USEFUL and FULFILLING.” ~ Shu Li

“ENLIGHTENING. Gives me the opportunity to question and reflect on my own parenting techniques objectively and determine what parenting style better suit me and my spouse.” ~ Yvonne.
